Ooi Wee Lee
Physiotherapist
Physiotherapy has always been more than just acute management, we have a term for that, the "biopsychosocial model". It's a way of treating people as a whole by viewing a person's relationships with their body, mind, and environment. For example, when an individual feels pain at the hip or the neck, it is also about how it makes us feel or move and how do we cope with it. The strategies to counter all these vary from person to person and it is our responsibility as physiotherapist to help you understand exactly what you are going through.

Jonathan Teh
Physiotherapist
Jon has had his fair share of sports and recreational activities ever since his secondary school days, constantly trying out new sports and taking an interest in almost any physical activities and this level of commitment towards physical activities was reciprocated all the way until his university days. However, this meant that he was also more prone to injuries following the particular sports he was doing at that time. He says, "I thought that it was going to be the new norm for me and that I was unable to avoid getting injured during sports".
He strongly believe that all sports and physical activities boil down to the essential movements that the body can do; If the body is unable to perform the required movements, that is where the problems will begin to arise. His role as a physiotherapist is to identify what are the possible causes for the restriction in daily / sports-specific movements, and what are the solutions that we can provide to help achieve your goal of ultimately moving pain-free!
As Ben Franklin say, "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest", he hope to inspire people in taking the extra effort to know and understand their bodies better to achieve their end goal of longevity!
